When and where can we pick up the number tag?

Where?

You will be able to pick up your number tag at Courtyard by Marriott Stockholm Kungsholmen at Rålambshovsleden 50.

When?

Friday, September 4th between 9:30 and 18:00

Saturday, September 5th between 9:30 and 17:00

What do I do if I can't pick up on September 4th or 5th?

If you absolutely can’t pick up at these times, you can

1. Ask a friend (they should have a copy of your registration certificate with them. It works to have it on their phone)

2. Email us at info@sthlmbike.se and find your own solution

Where and how should I attach the two number tags?

You will receive two number tags, one for you that you attach to your chest with the safety pins you get and one that you attach to the bike with the “straps” you get. (There will be an instructional video closer to the start)

When and where does the start take place?

The start takes place at 7:30 am at Stockholm City Hall, Norrmälarstrand 2.

Where can I find a map of the course?

Here you will find a link to the map.

NOTE: The course route may change right up until the start as there is major roadworks going on and this may affect the route.

No, we will not upload the map to STRAVA or any other app. We really want to be clear that this is a “fun race” and that plugging in the course to cycle faster is not our idea.

Are there toilets, pumps and water taps at the start?

Toilet – yes, there are “bajjamajjor” and the city’s own free toilets at the start.

Pump – we have a bike repairman on the platform who brings a pump. Please bring inflated tires.

Water tap – No, we don’t have access to running water at the start, so bring a filled water bottle!

How does the start work?

Everyone starts at the same time in a long snake that rolls forward.

You have registered in a class based on how fast you plan to cycle the race. Fast is at the front, followed by lagom, enjoyable and 65 + we who enjoy life. It is clearly marked on site.

Which starting group suits you? Fast, lagom enjoyable and 65+ we who enjoy life

65+ we who enjoy life, you cycle and enjoy, the group has extra cycling officials who pepper the course. The race takes you a little over 4 hours. You stop and have a coffee and have a mile pace of about 47 minutes.
Enjoyable, you pedal and chat a little with your companions. You have a coffee of course. The race takes you under 4 hours. You have a mile pace of 40 minutes.
Just right, you want to keep your pace but still have time to look around. You stop and have a short coffee and finish in about 3 hours. You have a mile pace of 36 minutes.
Fast, You give it your all, we ask you to respect our officials and police and NOT set off in single cycling, you risk the safety of the other cyclists. The race is not a COMPETITION.

Everyone can participate

To give everyone a better chance to participate, we support in any way we can. If you need an escort, Sthlm Bike will sponsor the registration fee. If you need help getting your sit- or recumbent bike out of a parking lot, you will get a dedicated official from us. If we can help in more ways, please contact us via info@sthlmbike.se

We want everyone to be able to enjoy our beautiful city, preferably together.

Where can you park your car?

There are parking spaces along Norrmälarstrand, the same street as the start. Don’t forget to pay, the parking attendants are awake even early on a Sunday.

If I have a problem with my bike during the race, what do I do?

We have bike repairers that you can reach during the race. They have a normal inner tube and can help with a puncture or other minor problems.
Sthlm Bike is responsible for the work, but you pay for any materials.
PS. If you have special tires, you need to bring your own inner tube.
